Delhi-Anandpur Sahib-Kullu-Keylong-Leh-Srinagar-Jammu-Ambala-Delhi
After studying like an ass for two months, after giving scary board exams, after the whole running around for admission in a kickass college and after a kickass result (95% woohoo!!), I finally got the time to step out of my hometown, noida.
My mum and I are pretty badass when it comes to going out on trips. We'd probably go out and do the most outrageous of things for 'relaxation'. So, my aunt,my brother, mum and I were all set to roll. We packed our bags, shoved them in the back seat ( also the place where I sat for the most part of the trip -_- ) and left for Anandpur Sahib. It took us almost 7 hours to reach there. We went to the Gurudwara over there. The weapons used in Guru Gobind Singhs time were so cool!
Anyway, we went to Kullu then, did 14 km of river rafting there. SO MUCH FUN! Then we left for Keylong and we also took a detour to see Udaipur. Beautiful place. Though the route was really scary. I almost peed in my pants at times.
Then finally, Leh. Though it took us 14 hours to reach Leh from Keylong but every second was worth it. Every scene was so beautiful, it cannot be described in words. We traveled from 0 degrees to 30 degrees in those 14 hours. There was a time when we were surrounded by snow and next, we were surrounded by loads of sand, it was almost like we were in Rajasthan. It was crazy. Absolutely crazy. We saw most of the Monasteries in and near Leh.
Well, now we come to the favorite part of my trip; Pangong Lake. It is by far the most beautiful place I've ever been to. you know that feeling? That feeling you get when it's really quite? You can feel some sort of stillness within you. I felt that. It was all that I needed. I can go on and on about how amazing it felt. Too bad I couldn't stay there for more than an hour. SNOWFALL! AAAH. Haha.
I could write every detail about this trip, I could but even then it would feel so incomplete.
